Four in Custody Following County Street Drug Raid

New Bedford, MA — Detectives placed four suspects under arrest after a Monday drug raid that yielded drugs and cash.

On Feb. 17th, detectives assigned to the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau concluded an investigation into a suspected cocaine distribution service being operated out of 868 County Street Apt. 6. The target of the investigation was Mr. RAYMON CARABALLO MUNOZ, 21.

As a result of the search that followed, detectives seized 106.5 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale, a cutting agent, 23 suboxone film strips, a stun gun, and $2,300 that was seized as a result of drug proceeds.

RAYMON CARABALLO, KENNY GONZALEZ, 24, JUAN BERDIEL CARABALLO, 56, and DAJARAE ANDRADE, 23, were all charged with trafficking in excess of 36 grams of cocaine and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance laws.  In addition to those charges, RAYMON and DAJARAE were also charged with possession to distribute crack cocaine and possession of a stun gun.

The arresting officer was Detective Matthew Couture.
